Mapesbury Estate As is often the case in our projects, two Plain English designs converge and combine in this urban kitchen. The Osea island, modular in stature, anchors the space, while large slabs of uninterrupted honed Carrara marble wrap the walls. The space is lit from above, a soft wave of fossil stone, enjoyed for its visual texture makes up the worktops. Painted in Plain English ‘Army Camp’, adding a rich warmth to the space are Spitalfields cupboards with Fournier doors. Full-height glazed screens, accented with reeded glass, finish the design and define the space.
