Typically, a dressing room features a series of cupboards suited to getting dressed, with the primary function being that of a wardrobe – the storage of apparel. In England, a wardrobe means a tall cupboard for storing clothes; in our design work, this might mean something that simple — a cupboard designed as a freestanding piece of furniture that can be placed on its own in a bedroom or be paired with other cupboards to create an area. A fully built-in dressing room can be as detailed or as simple as the needs of the project dictate. A simple dressing room might include cupboards and high storage too, for out-of-season clothes, perhaps utilising a ladder for access. The interiors of all of our cupboards can be detailed for a particular use and wardrobes and dressing rooms are particularly apt to take advantage of a high level of bespoke customisation.
